I am a self-taught artist that started painting Jan. 2004 at 50 years old. I like to paint subjects that look back at me. Animals do that mostly; dogs, cats, horses, people, and sometimes buildings.

 

 So, this is all relatively new to me and can cause some anxiety. I'll get through it here in Clinton, CT., very close to Long Island Sound.

 

  I work at the CT Hospice inpatient facility in Branford as a CNA. The schedule is flexible and gives me time to paint.

 

  I consider myself very lucky.
